Javier’s a local Miami artist that enjoys working with his hands and making beautiful things. He specializes in finding, cutting, sanding and the illustrating on slabs of wood. The warmth and organic feel he gets from using a canvas with life is something he finds exhilarating. Javier says: “Nature is already a work of art. What better way to expand on that perfection and make something truly unique to the eye. I make every piece myself and they range from large to small, custom coasters to illustrations.”
Ivana Tarraza is the artist behind “Anatomiko”, in 2016 she created a collection of illustrations that combined the human anatomy and nature. The artist was inspired in the anatomy because of her mother, who was a nurse and would share medical anecdotes. The artist was born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico, the island’s natural landscapes served as an inspiration for her artwork.
